Cats Protection, the UK's largest feline welfare charity, helps thousands of cats each year. By volunteering in a Cats Protection shop, you will raise much needed money and awareness to help keep our shelters purring.



You will gain personal satisfaction and enjoyment from your volunteering role, while developing new skills, expanding your knowledge of retail and using existing expertise. You will meet new people, make friends and work as part of a dedicated team.



What the role involves:

Serving customers

Arranging and replenishing stock

Merchandising

Sharing your passion for cats and promoting the work of the charity

Having Fun



This role requires, and can help develop:

Confident in dealing with money



Good communication skills

Ability to work well in a team



Previous experience in retail and a friendly or outgoing personality are desired.



This role is very flexible, a regular ‘shift’ of 2-4 hours would help raise those much needed funds.

This is an ideal summer activity for students, with low commitment and flexibility, providing CV building skills.



You will receive full training and support in your role from members of the shop team.
